Charming vintage salt and pepper shaker set featuring Japanese children playing baseball. This adorable duo is wearing traditional Japanese clothing and hairstyles. They are hand painted and while their clothing and hairstyles are glazed, their heads are matte. That makes their cute little faces especially endearing. Measuring 4 1/4” and 3 5/8” tall both shakers are in very good vintage condition, no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. They show light age and use appropriate wear. One is missing the original cork.
