Small vintage pink singing angel figurine made by Gabriel Fourmaintraux in Desvres France. Desvres is deeply tied to its famous earthenware (faïence) production, starting from Gallo-Roman times, with significant growth in the 18th-19th centuries under families like the Fourmaintraux. This adorable handmade 3 1/2” tall kneeling angel is wearing a pink robe and is holding a blue hymnal. It has a lovely high gloss finish and is signed on the bottom. In very good vintage condition with light age and use appropriate wear, no chips, cracks, or crazing.
