Vintage 1930s Rhody Brush Company, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, Mammy clothes, hat, or crumb brush. This long-bristled palm brush has a painted wood handle, carved to resemble the head and torso of a woman and the natural bristles form her skirt. It measures 4 1/2” and is in good vintage condition, the head has a couple of light scuffs, but otherwise is in great shape, the paint is still complete and bright. The brush is missing a tuft and show light age and use appropriate wear.
