This is a wonderful Belle De Jour perfume bottle with Rene Lalique design acrylic tiara stopper.
This bottle is a Rene Lalique design but manufactured in 1940 for D’Orsay by another company. It is unsigned. The acrylic stopper is almost identical to the all glass original.
The 3 1/2” bottle is simplistic in style and unmarked.
The acrylic tiara stopper with cork depicts two nude women under floral branches.
Measures approximately 4 1/2” x 4 1/2”.
Stopper color is a warm golden yellow. I have only seen clear acrylic in this stopper and do not believe it to be discolored, but manufactured with this hue.
There is no damage to the piece and would make a lovely addition to any perfume flacon collection.
