The Eagle Seelatsee Pendleton blanket was dedicated to Chief Eagle Seelatsee of the Yakima Nation (1895 until passing in 1976). Woven in 1977 by Pendleton Woolen Mills, the blanket features a large eagle with arrows. It was officially dedicated at the Long House in White Swan, Washington.
This is a Pendleton Beaver State Indian Robe or Shawl. The design features bold colors of turquoise, red, white and blue with the central eagle and arrows.
The edges of the robe are tied off with spun cotton fringe.
Measures 68” x 68”.
Pattern #1900, Color 106.
82% Pure Virgin Wool/ 18% Spool Spun Cotton.
Robe has never been used. Original Content panel still attached to robe.
Clean and free of damage and wear.
