This is the musical score book and pamphlet of lyrics to the Oratorio “Magic in the Heart of the Universe”, text by Adrian Swets and music by Jack Kimmel.
This oratorio was commissioned and originally performed around 1974/75 by The Fountain Street Church Choir in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
A fully staged version was produced by the Grand Rapids Civic Theater in October 1975. This book was printed by Shawnee Press Inc. in 1977.
In overall good vintage condition, it shows some creasing, staining and scuffing and there is foxing on a number of pages. The binding and the spine are strong and intact.
