Beautiful pair of hand-painted porcelain salad plates made by Jean Pouyat Limoges in 1894. They have the most striking Imari red color painted along the edge of the plates which, although simple, is a wonderful element and really makes the interior floral pattern pop.
The plates were estate-owned and are in excellent condition. No chips, crazing, or cracks noted. The red trim has has faded in certain spots though, so take a minute to look closely at the pictures for reference.
