This book is colorfully and strikingly illustrated with original oil painting specially commissioned for the series. Contains tales about how the Hindu, Susruta, performed plastic surgery centuries before it was attempted in the West and how Hippocrates “Father of Medicine” probably was not the author of the oath attributed to him.
The dust protector (the paper cover) of the book is ripped on the front cover and all along the edges. The spine of the book is intact and in excellent condition. There is some very slight foxing (browning) of the pages.
