Antique Indian Hand Carved Wooden Agricultural Seed Spreader Bijni Primitive /cb

Own a fascinating piece of rural Indian heritage with this authentic antique early 20th century Bijni, seed spreader. This agricultural tool was traditionally used by farmers to evenly distribute seeds across the fields. This piece was crafted from a single block of wood and features figural and decorative carvings depicting farming motifs and the Hindu God of beginnings, wisdom and good fortune, Ganesh.
This Bijni is a beautiful decorative item, it can hold up to a 2 1/4” diameter candle but is stunning displayed as is.
It measures 5 1/4” x 5 1/4” x 4 3/4” and is in wonderful rustic antique condition, structurally sound with a wonderful patina, every grove tells a story of traditional farming life.
