Sunny and charming beehive pitcher likely made by Bauer in the 1930s. The pitcher is unmarked, but based on the age, glaze color, and form, I believe this to be a Bauer piece. The yellow is pale but still very cheery. Would bring a happy, colorful element to your vintage decor style, and would be lovely with a handful of fresh-cut flowers in it!
The pitcher was estate-owned and is good vintage condition. You will see glaze inconsistencies, dings in the pottery (pre-glaze), and some very subtle flea bite chips around the spout. All of these are very typical of aged pottery pieces, and don’t effect the aged vintage charm of the piece.
It measures 5” in height and approx. 4 1/2” in diameter. Spout to handle measures 6 1/4”.
